It is a very painful experience. When they dig into the most sensitive part it really feels bad. Like they have to keep in that part for a good length of time too. So, it's just one constant pain. I'd rather get punched in the face ten times. I think you can be put under anesthetic if you can't handle it.
My friend has like 2 root canals every day. Of course she is a dental assistant, so shes on the opposite end. She seems to think its not a big deal. :)
