Anyone seen the video of the diving guy splitting his face in half?

If you have, reactions? My brother showed it to me a few weeks ago and I didn't think too much of it. (thanks desensitivation internet!) I just looked it up again and it is pretty intense. Guy really messed himself up. I'm not going to post a link because I would get in trouble for it but a quick Google search for any internet-savvy person should be good enough. Be warned, though, It is pretty graphic.

From the way you describe it...I probably dont want to see it anyway... I mean, cmon.

Yea the doc tries to hold his face in place...It just slops back to transformer mode. Crazy stuff. And to all the fake-sayers.. I would say it is pretty legit.

I've read that he died after 2 days in the ICU, and another report said he died an hour after being admitted to the hospital. The latter story seems much more likely. The odds of him surviving such an impact are extremely, extremely low, and then him surviving another 2 days? I don't thinks so.

Anyway, if it's real, I have 0 sympathy for him. Jumping of an obviously dangerous place of a cabinet is just asking for death or a tragic accident. We should nominate him for a Darwin award.

You can't see anything in the actual diving video. You see the guy trip when he goes to jump, and then hit the dock thing, and the water turns red. It's the hospital part that's gruesome. His face is split vertically from chin to forhead, wide open. You can see his tongue flopping around and everything. However it isn't confirmed if the hospital video is the boy who jumped off the pier or if it's a different person.

When given the option of either completely desensitizing myself or retaining some of my sensitivity, like in this case, I usually choose the latter.

And, this time won't be an exception.

I'll save my curiosity and not watch this video.

It seems real to me. Even though they shouldn't have been diving there it is very sad. To think having fun, then one slip is all it takes to get yourself killed. Horrible just horrible. I can't even imagine how the family feels.

Yeah, I saw this a while ago and its pretty ****ed up, I say its pretty real and thats why I don't do crazy ledge jumping ****.

No, nor would I want to see it. I don't get peoples obsession with seeing others actually die/get harmed. I remember years back when all those terrorist decapitation videos started floating around all my friends watched them and were like "lol so awezome u gotz 2 c it!". Never did watch it, nor would I want to.

The surgery stuff didn't bother me that much, but hearing the family cry was painful.

At first, his face was just one big bloody mess so i didnt really get scared..until the doctor tried to put his face back on.
