Eh, a little OT, but it is my 70k, so I say it is alright. Anyways, I was going to have a 75k party...seems a little more appropriate. Geez, it has taken like 3 years though to get there! from 65k or whatever.

I accept the fact that people have different tastes. But if you think poop tastes good or the Beatles sound bad, there's something probably wrong with your tastes.

EolGul2

Hopefully, someday you'll realize that musical tastes are subjective. If not, maybe you can make that work for you by getting a job at a record store or something.

I realized that taste is subjective years ago.

Do you realize that just because the enjoyment of something is subjective doesn't mean everything is of equal quality?

If not, please explain to me why the first picture and the second picture are of equal quality.

Uh...what the hell are you going on about?

Look...I'll be the first one here to state that art can be objectively good or bad, that it's not just a matter of taste or opinion. But you're barking up the wrong tree. The dude NEVER SAID that the Beatles were bad. He never said that the Beatles weren't good. He made no claims about the quality of their music or how much talent they have, ALL he said was that he doesn't listen to the Beatles.

Look...I don't care how "good" something is. I can admit that something is the best thing ever. But if I DON"T LIKE IT, I'm still NOT GOING TO DO IT.

Your whole point about onjective artistic traits is entirely worthless here, since NO ONE had previously said that the Beatles were crap or that quality is subjective. Instead, some dude just said that he doesn't listen to the Beatles, and then you jumped all over him because he doen;t listen to stuff that you consider to be good.

The Beatles coming to iTunes is great, but I wish they would have made the mono versions available as well.

Maybe it's a day THEY'LL never forget... we could always buy the Beatles and put them on our Ipods, not we get to buy the albums from Apple. Good for you Apple, good for you Steve.

I'm sure I'll never forget the day Beatles came to Itunes, especially considering I don't use Itunes or particularly care for the Beatles.
