APPLES SUCK! oh wait, we're tlaking about fruit.... well i think i'm allergic to the fruit, my stomach hurts all day when i eat them, or maybe that's just the ones in mexico....

well i dont like pears, andn i have to eat apples with a knife, because one of my front teeth isnt real, so i cant bite into :P
which is a real hasstle, so i usually dont bother. i eat Bananas :D

If one of each were placed in front of me and I could only choose one, I would choose the pear.
I have an insatiable sweet tooth.
I like apples simply because the quantity of quality apples > quantity of quality pears
nobody knows how to pick a good pear, and they dont know how to ripen them at home.
However, a really REALLY good pear is definately superior to the apple imo.
First, you ripen it. It should be tender but not mushy.
Then you put it into the refrigerator, preferably the coldest part so it almost gets ice cold.
Then you cut it, trim it...and eat. Icy cool pear juice with tender pear flesh entering your mouth and dissolving. Tastes of honeysuckle lingers for a few minutes.
The gentle abrasive texture of the pear skin feels like youre french kissing a kitten.
Its a wonderful experience.

I think so. C'mon you know what Im talking about...pear skin tends to be mildly abrasive sometimes on the tongue, like little granules on it.
