No more weirder than those kiddie-looking cartoon girls better known as anime. But, if that's what they like, who am I to to say otherwise? 

I don't like the show, but I don't care as long as they're not annoying and sh*t. I enjoy Regular Show, Legend of Korra and Adventure Time so I would feel like a hypocrite if I had a problem with them liking MLP.

Oh and by the way, Regular Show is way better than any other kids show on right now.

I've only watched one episode.  Definitely felt like the old school cartoons of the 90s, with some hidden adult humor in it.  I don't really have the desire to  watch it regularly though.
