These are isolated crackpots. "Christians" are not going to war with the United States.

That's just an extremely small portion of extremist faith. Even if they did start something it would be over very quickly.

I'm sorry, but now a days one person, especially a few people, represent an entire group of people.

"The strict Christian dogma espoused by the Hutaree does not fly as well these days either, at least in Adrian militia circles. Mr. Savino said that he converted to Islam in the late 1990s after a soul-searching separation from the Lutheran faith he had grown up with, and that he believed that he was the only Muslim in the militia."

Say what? They are called the "Hutaree". Sorry, Generalizing all Christians to a sub group of a sub group with barely any members is just insane. This would be like if I said well, you know, suicide bombers are Muslim, therefore I will generalize all of them.

It's completely anti-biblical to do this. Christians are supposed to submit to the government, except in cases were the government tells us to do something against the Bible or tells us to stop preaching the word of God.

Well, I'm not going to war with the US. :| As soon as you figure out how any of Jesus' statements support these types of actions, let me know. Until then, this has nothing to do with Christianity. It's merely people giving themselves an excuse for their actions by putting the blame on God.mindstorm

Pretty much this.

I'm baffled at how anyone can read that article and then ask "Are Christians going to go to war with the United States?"

There is zero indication that they are even christian buddy, you need to stop generalizing anyways because Jesus himself was against violence. When Peter chopped off the ear of the soldier. A Christian is one who follows Christ. Thats real christianity, not these clowns with guns. Please know what your talking about before you post.JJ_Productions

A ''christian'' is anyone who throws jesus around. A real christian doesnt do these things.

False, if you did your historically research then you would know what your talking about. The Romans are the first to even come up with the term Christian. They were speaking of those who followed the teachings of Christ. Not some, not 75%, ALL off the teachings of Christ. Now, Christianity has become a title. Go read the bible you won't find the word "Christianity" in there once. Jesus calls them the children.

What? The word "Christian" means "follower of Christ". If someone does not follow Christ, they are not a Christian, regardless of what they call themselves.

Any "Christian" that supports violence or war is hardly a Christian at all.

Calling a Fundamentalist radical group representative of all Christianity is just as bad as the Militia group saying all Muslims are terrorists.

No. What you had there was a group of idiotic Christian extremists who wanted to wage war on the US. Not all of Christianity wants that.
