eh i'm not a fan. the autotune does not do that band well.

I really like covers actually because you can easily compare the difference between the original and the cover.

I think some really good covers would be

Sonic Youth covering the Beach Boys - I know theres an answer

Smashing Pumpkins covering Fleet wood Mac- Landslide

Janis Joplin covering the Bee Gee's- To love somebody

Nirvana covering David Bowie- Man who sold the world

Baby It's You by The Shirelles, Boys by The Shirelles, and Anna (Go To Him) by Arthur Alexander are all good songs made great by The Beatles.

Some covers are amazing in their own way

For example, Genie by SNSD.

Here's the cover by Royal Pirates, They took a k-pop song and turned it into basically alternative rock. My friend showed me this yesterday and I was amazed.

Depends solely on the song and if that songs background music uses instruments heavily....
