Are elevators better or escalators better?

depends on the situation

i think treadmills are better then escelators though they allow wheel chairs etc and do the same thing as escelators except their not stairs

,when the power goes out just walk the rest of the way no climbing neccasary

but elevators are better then escelators so what if you can get stuck in them ,,

I like the carpet like escalators that they have at IKEA and airports (but airport ones are flat). They give you the best of both worlds and if they aren't working it is just like a sloping sidewalk.
