[QUOTE="MrGeezer"][QUOTE="killtactics"][QUOTE="Engrish_Major"]So, on the same token, I'm just curious: do all of you also believe that we should not prosecute drug dealers, just the users? Isn't it the same thing?Engrish_Major
Thats what i was going to say too. If we are not going to stop fast food from selling food which is killing people, then we should't stop people from selling crack or meth.....Hey, eating a diet consisting solely of iceberg lettuce also results in nutritional deficiencies. Let's ban iceberg lettuce, too.
Hey french fries wouldn't be so unhealthy if they weren't deep fried and then covered in salt. So let's ban cooking oil and salt.
That's not the point. What could (maybe should?) happen is more control on how food is processed, not the banning of the ingredients themselves.
No, that is exactly what you are proposing.
Fast food, like ANY food, is only meant to be consumed in a healthy manner. Aside from any kinds of allergies, or from choking, has anyone ever died from eating ONE HAMBURGER? No, people die from OVEREATING hamburgers. Same way that you could die from overeating practically anything.
More to the point, a lot of REAL restauranrts sell BURGERS. Burgers, fries, fried ****ing fish, and huge freaking steaks that most normal people can't even finish. But it's not FAST food, so that makes it better?
You do know that burger king sells SMALL fries, right? Or that they sell SMALL burgers? They're not freaking making anyone order the super deluxe jumbo western whopper, and they're not making anyone order that **** every day. Same ****ing way that the cooking oil industry isn't forcing me to deep fry my damn salads.
