That goes for everyone, not just girls... though I'd have to say to TC, if your description of RL girls is what the girls around you are like, your problem isn't the girls. It's that you're stuck with high school girls. Give them a few years, they will be less annoying. Either because they change or you do, but most likely a combination of both.yes asking GS girls for girl advice is just fine, we will give you the best info we can from our perspective and it will likely be helpful... but each girl is different and what applies to one won't necessarily apply to the other.

Honestly, and I mean no offense to anyone, but do you think popular, attractive teenage girls sit around posting on a VIDEO GAME website forum? No, just no.ieatnoobs18I was pretty popular in highschool and college and I sit and post on gamespot. I wouldnt call me ugly either.
nobody on gamespot that has a chance with anybody would like that kind of girl, so what's it matter....No offesnse to anyone, but
I'm just asking this, because a lot of guys come here asking girls for advice. My question is, are they similar to many of the ones you'd find at school, you know the ones that tend to be airheaded, obsesses with clothing and makeup, and spew an endless stream of nonsense?
Just asking.

You're also smart though. At least you seam like it at times. Whereas the TC seems to think most girls around him are air-headed.[QUOTE="guynamedbilly"][QUOTE="Sajedene"]What's wrong with shoes?! OMG. I guess I can be the one that doesn't fit the GS female norm. I love shoes, I like shopping and buying make-up (but too lazy to bother with it haha - eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss and I'm good to go) and do "girly" things besides gaming. I like being a girly girl... don't see whats wrong with that and I just so happen to LOVE videogames so here I am. CHEERLEADERS FTW!effena
I think he was being intentinally blowing that out of proportion=p
I was exaggerating mostly for effect, and to put something out there to discuss mostly. I'm not that stereotypical.Honestly, and I mean no offense to anyone, but do you think popular, attractive teenage girls sit around posting on a VIDEO GAME website forum? No, just no.ieatnoobs18I was pretty "popular" in high school...I sit and I post from my laptop on a video game forum. I like video games. And I'm pretty confident in the way I look so I wouldnt call myself ugly either.
Honestly, and I mean no offense to anyone, but do you think popular, attractive teenage girls sit around posting on a VIDEO GAME website forum? No, just no.ieatnoobs18Dude, how would you know? I'm very good looking and have a lot of friends. That doesn't mean I don't have some free time that I choose to fill on a video game website. Geez. What is with guys on this site and gross generalizations? :P Oops...I just generalized. D:

Well some are like that. I know a couple friends that are girls who don't wear makeup, are smart, and like to talk about interesting stuff or really random stuff, most of the time we'll talk about movies or tv shows. The girl I like right now doesn't even brush her hair, so I know she isn't obsessed with how she looks; although her hair is short and so it doesn't get knots or anything. But yeah everyone is different. No offesnse to anyone, but

Girls in real life > Girls on gamespot.... it's a fact...UglyDude_07don't say that. I think the girls here are just great :)

My best friend doesn't brush her hair... just depends on the type you have. Hers is thick & wavy, doesn't need brushing... brushing makes it fluff out. I on the other hand have to brush my hair obsessively. :P

Of course not.
Entire female population is a very big population. Very big population means very big diversity.
I'm probably not the ideal representation of females.SeraphimGoddessSure you are. We're all great, in some way or another ;)
Why dont you just get out of your house for a change and talk to one of them and find out yourself...
No. They are a bit ...... different. In general I think asking opinions about certain things is ok/accurate.
Quantity wise. Quality wise is debatable. >_>Indeed. There are some nice girls on here :) are u talking about mwa :P[QUOTE="super_mario_128"][QUOTE="UglyDude_07"]Girls in real life > Girls on gamespot.... it's a fact...Murj
Well, we have the Queen Bee's, the nerds, the emoes, the hippies and the dykes here... So, I guess :P Guess which one I am :lol:Deihjanlet me guess u are the nerd!!! ta da dan :o
Obviously not, GS tends to attract more nerdy girls and in general forums attract people who are quiet in real life. With the Wii and DS it's shifted more towards the normal but i'ld still say that there's a higher concentration of quiet nerdy girls here than you'ld find on average.markop2003But we still have the plastics, even if they are playing games, they are just as annoying as the plastics who do not play games. So, yeah :P
I think so. Personalities are what we can judge on, and there are certainly a lot of different personalities here.
