I think its because they don't take people for granted. Nifty_Shark
Whu? I don't understand.
Because there are less people with their "same" interests, they may be more inclined to try and enjoy the relationship more than a person with "different" desires. Of course more people seem to be coming out these days, so my opinion may mean nothing in hindsight. Not that people with normal interests arn't happy.
Well obviously, gay also means 'happy' so they must be.fkholmesYeah, but he was talking about "gey" people.Oh yeah. I missed that. Yeah, geys are pretty miserable out of the frustration that they're one letter off from being happy.
they are happy because; say your a gay male, i mean a gey male, and you like men, well then your really happy cos your a man, so you think that your the right gender, whereas for a straight man, they like women but they're men so they feel like they'd be better of as a woman because the like women so much, but gay people dont have this problem. [/bullcrap]

Being gay or straight only defines your sexuality, not whether you're happy or depressed in life.Nerd_Man
QFT. With all the stuff some gey people have to go through to come out, it is sometimes really hard and depressing.

I think we need to understand the true meaning of the word gay or maybe "gey" in the TC's sense...wait what is the TC trying to say? What makes someone "gey"? majadamus
Being attracted to a member of the same sex and having a intimate relationship with them , makes a person gay Or perhaps bi-sexual.

Yes, some might think that.
Bit of a generalization. Sexuality has nothing to do with happiness. Brainkiller05I beg to differ.
Why so? Someone's sexuality doesn't automatically determine if they will be more, or less happy.
Yes, some might think that.

But I think it is clear what the TC is talking about non-straits.

Just like many of you have said, happiness depends from a person and the setuation of life. Sometimes you just are happy, sometimes sad, that goes to all people, were you gay or not.
About homosexuals being more happy than straight people, it is all because of the stereotypes. Just because there is one Fabulous Five doesn't mean there is a thousand of them.
The notion of a Fabulous Five Thousand makes me a very unhappy gey :(Just like many of you have said, happiness depends from a person and the setuation of life. Sometimes you just are happy, sometimes sad, that goes to all people, were you gay or not.

:D See? Everyone HAS their unhappy moments.
Being homosexual isn't a prerequisate for being happy.MattUD1I'd go so far as to guess that there is a fairly low correlation between sexual orientation and level of happiness.
