I have no problem with guys acting "feminine" by crying during a movie, saying they are upset, etc. What burns my *** is when people consider themselves better than someone else solely because they contain those attributes. ie. guy thinking he is king **** simply because he wears REALLY tight jeans and make-up. I think a lot of the hate of "feminine" guys is just stemming from stupid little fads.

I don't think anyone has any emotion such as aggression imprinted into their minds, people just tend to follow gender stereotypes, though this is becoming less likely, and social and gender roles for specific sexes are disappearing, Thank God!!!!

I don't think there has been massive changes myself -- the still primal differences between men and women are still in tact as get down to the fundamentals of gender based behaviour.

IMO I think men are becoming more womanly. In this time men hardly pay for food or leads the household. Ther is a reason why those thoughts were made because they are a goal. I know as sure as hell that I don't want to talk about my emotions or cry in public. To the people who say we are becoming more civilized. I think civility is overated and you are basically downing your own gender.

Aside from the women having rights, which is an awesome thing. I do think men are becoming pathetic. When one man provokes another man to belt him across the face, the instigating man should take it, instead of crying to his lawyers.

What? Havent you read Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus?

/sarcasm

Men and Women are totally different. We have differnent hormones, we think differently, we act differently, we handle things differently.

I dont know if your married or have a girlfriend; you probably dont, but if you ever walk into a store with a woman with the sole purpose of getting one or two things, watch her. What was supposed to be a 10 minute shopping trip has turned into an hour. She gets so distracted, her mind is fumbling over a 1000 different things. Shes planning her garden while shes picking out her flooring. She cant possibly concentrate on the task at hand.

Men focus. When we have a goal or a purpose, we go take care of it.

Hmm. I can understand if your in an electronic store and shes bored to tears because you cant help but play with ALL of it, but for anything else?

Whenever my wife and I run to town to get a few things, frustration levels rise. I want to get the crap we came for and leave, and she wants to grabass around and prance through the tulips.

Yes, I agree in a way, but I would reword it. Males and females are becoming less like the stereo-typical man or woman, a man being strong and stupid, and a woman being weak and existing only for working for the men. I don't think its bad, its a step towards equality.

Tch, I broke a nail. Now I need to see a manicurist. But at least she can help me find a boyfriend.

I'm a guy, and I approve of this. Not because it diminish my masculanity, but because the past you're talking about refers to men discriminating women. I would gladly sacrifice my manhood for the sake of justice.Benjamin-T

I think that's his euphemism for "I would never date you in a million years" :P

I'm pretty girly in a number of ways and not definitively manly in many. I'm super-vain and I straighten my hair for two examples. Also, many of my mannerisms aren't exactly manly. I don't follow football or take an interest in cars - two things considered manly round my way. Oh well.
