Such as the famed "N" word. Now everyone know that word was created to dehumanize african americans so the white slave owners would feel bad doing what they were doing to them. Sam deal with calling Germans Krauts in WW2, dehumanizing the enemy makes them easier to kill.
However, if i were to say an offensive word such as the "N" word in a totally freindly and unoffensive way, and the person i'm speaking to knows that, is it still offensive.
Basically what i'm getting to, is the word itself offensive? Or is the context/person the thing that is offensive?
