Well I'm 6'7 and how I got this tall is really very simple...

You see every morning for 19 years I start my day off with a bowl of awsomeness

I then go to school and the awsomeness oozes from my pores and makes me seem bigger to everybody else

Because I seem so big to everybody who sees me, time and space altered and made me humongous...In reality I stand 4'2" and have no fingers...

Nah JK, My dad is 6'10, he played basketball for Marshall University in 70-74 (Go Herd) and my mom is 5'10".

I have a 6'5" brother...its all genetics.

NO!!!! BLASPHEMY!!!! you know why? The idiot trainers push my shoulders down and hold me down while they measure, squashing me and robbing me of that inch that seperates me from the rest of the population.

Its the most evil thing in the world I tell you. When I was down at Louisville being recruited I told Bobby Petrino that I was 6'7, they took me in, squashed me down, and I measured 6'6.5...he thought I was a liar haha.

There are doctors out there who will prescribe growth hormones. However, there have been no studies that have examined what the long term effects of taking growth hormones are, and the short term side effects are not exactly pleasant.duxup

Don't they give you Man Boobs?

And I was there on a special invite camp to evaluate my skills. I owned that camp, I've never played football as good as I did that day. Brian Brohm and I had a sync, we were working well together (he threw to the recievers). They had me compete with this kid who now goes to Tennessee named Luke Stocker (look him up, hes a freshman) And I walked all over his ass. Thing is, I was 6'6 (grr) and 200 pounds. Petrino wanted a big 270 pound TE because of the success they had with Breno Giacomini and I just didn't fit the bill. They had an athletic tight end (Gary Barnidge) and didn't need another one at the moment, they needed a big bruising blocker. Plus, I only ran a 4.71 40 that day...nowhere near quick enough. Most colleges felt that way about me, so here I am. Can't complain though, you know how that goes.

Exactly, at a time when most of his friends are growin up he hasn't yet. Being 14 and the shortest guy in school (especially Middle school, land of superficiality) can be real tough I bet.

They did, my preferred walk-on list was: Cincinnati, Louisville, Kent State, Akron, Ohio U...I was recruited Hard by Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern, Kentucky, Bowling Green, Miami, OH, those kinds of schools.

Look at my pictures on FB, look how skinny I am, that's me at 245-250 pounds, don't look like it do I? That's why, none of them thought I'd be able to gain any weight.

Get your parents to wake you up one day by one of them pulling you by the legs, and the other pulling you by the arms. They should lift you completely in the air. That will make you grow. I saw this on "Braniac" a scientific show, so it was "Scientifically proven" to be true. I don't remember how much you will grow, or if the effect wears off, but you gotta be sleeping right before they do it. I am completely serious. Give it a try.lcman92

Well, actually you're naturally taller when you wake up after 8 hours of sleep than you are after being up all day. The cartilage in your spine and in your knees compresses under your own body weight throughout the day, and at night it reinflates.

No. The short term stuff is irritability, inability to concentrate, and crazy mood swings. Basically your average teenager but cranked up a few times. Crazy stuff. Long term effects, nobody knows. I can imagine the wish to be taller, but I wouldn't risk taking those things.

No, unless you get separation surgery, though that does kind of require breaking your leg bones and learning to walk again. I'm less than 5"2 and I'm 19, my advice is to just be happy with the way you are.

I do recall being on growth hormone tablets back when I was around 11-12, took them for about a year and half and they had no effect, not any side effects I can think of either, just be happy with yourself.

I am 14 and only 5'2". And that feels really short. Will things like hanging from a chinup bar help lengthen my stature?!
Anyways I want serious answers and advice.
