Are there any physiatrists here on OT?

Who can tell me is there something wrong with me? If that's not possible can someone tell me if I'm intellectually below the average? English is not my first language by the way.

I can already tell you're below the average.

And how can you already tell? If you don't give your reason I could think that youre some internet loser whose only way of entertainment is making people feel like shit on the internet.

Why do you feel you need the help of a psychiatrist? Why would there be "something wrong with" you? Why would you be "intellectually below the average"?

Even if there are any here how are they supposed to treat your injuries and help you move better? Go see one.

you're worried about your level of intellectualism compared to others, and you're just generally worried whether or not something (anything?) is wrong with you

you decide to take your concerns to an off-topic forum on a game news related website, in hopes of not only finding a physiatrist for your somatic concerns, but a psychiatrist which would be essential if you would like your psychological concerns to be addressed, but a psychiatrist who can correctly diagnose you - a perfect stranger - online, and do so for free because **** it - he's a pro so he/she will probably enjoy taking out the time of day to do a comprehensive psychoanalysis of you (which can theoretically take months, in some cases years, and that's face-to-face sessions)

and when a dude in this thread confronts you with the irrationality of looking for a physiatrist and/or psychiatrist to diagnose you on a game news related website, you deliver the following reasoning: "physiatrists don't play games?"

really bro? you're definitely lacking some basic sense here, i can tell you that much for damn sure, no PhD needed : D

No psychiatrists will measure your intellect but they will point out what you need to improve on about yourself, like self-awareness.

By psychiatrist I meant anyone whos studying psychology. I don't know any psychiatrist so strangers are my only option. Any psychology major can tell if someone is below average intellect. Don't take everything so literally. I just wanted to talk about how I feel to someone. I bet I'm not the only one who feels like this sometimes, you know what I mean?

@nigeriaforlife: If you don't know any capable professional grab a phone book, search online, ask friends and family...here is not the right place for it. Nobody worth their diploma is just going to sit here, on a gaming forum, and throw guesses...this is not WebMD...do yourself a favour and get proper help; you'll thank yourself on the long run.

I know of a good physiatrist from OT and everyone takes his advise on such matters and he goes by the name of Korvus ^_^. You better take his advise OP :)

I finish my undergrad degree in Psychology this fall, I don't think I'm a psychologist as of yet, sadly,

I think what you are missing is you are looking to be evaluated by a psychiatrists on a gaming forum...not that psychiatrists don't play games. In other words, you're trying to order a tire rotation at McDonalds. I'm sure someone at McDonalds knows how to do it and possible is even a mechanic, but it's not the place to go.

Even if you were to find someone on this forum qualified to evaluate you in this way, I'm pretty sure they would tell you that this isn't the right way or place to have your intellect evaluated.

So you gonna be a psychologist? Lots of patients need conselling on OT ( including me ), see if you can save us =P

Everyone is annonymous on the internet. I'd suggest some help outside the internet. Grab a phonebook and make an appointment.

I'd like to eventually be some kind of therapist/mental health counselor. Whether that's in social work, or psychology, is still up for grabs.

So is there anyway I can find out if I'm borderline mentally challenged by my self?
