[QUOTE="no_more_fayth"]

I've been wearing skinny jeans for four years.

XilePrincess

Emo/scene/girly-gay-looking-not-gay-boy trends were in (and in abundance) 4 years ago. You are part of the fad, 4 years does not pre-date the fad.

They're more comfortable, and they look better.

Now granted this is only my opinion.

I don't wear them to be trendy.

Baggy clothes are sickening.

[QUOTE="MistressMinako"]Well, according to HT, no. Unless guys have sizes 0, 1, 2, 3.... etc. So even if you bought those pants you have to be HELLA SKINNY to wear them. :Payanami_rei
Not to mention that Hot Topic Tripp sizes go smaller than regular pair of pants that are sizes 0, 1, 3....

Yeah, I always noticed that they have the smallest sizes for those kind of pants. Even if they had bigger sizes at one point, someone probably already grabbed them. HTs all over here have many of those kind of pants just sitting around. But they sell up to 2X (sometimes 3X) in their store for shirts but never in jeans/pants.

I didn't say they weren't comfortable, or anything else. I said you didn't predate the fad, so don't say "Oh, I've been wearing these for so long" like the 7th grade kids who go "Oh, I've been listening to eminem since I was 9, I liked him before he made love the way you lie". It just sounds stupid. And I don't know what you look like, but if you've got a Jack Skellington-esque body, I'd drop the skinnies immediately and go for straight legged jeans, they're not baggy, they're just not tight. You don't need to have skintight jeans on legs the size of forearms, because that DOESN'T look better. It just reminds me of the old women with cancer I see being wheeled around the hospital grounds in my city wearing their thick opaque tights. I don't know why anyone would want to look like a dying person.

That's YOUR opinion, we're all entitled to one.

The type of girls I'm interested in like it, and I like it.

You do know you come off as terrible rude talking like this, right?

I don't say you look like a dying person.

I didn't say you looked like a dying person either. I said people with stick legs who wear skinny jeans (which would consequently hang off of them, because jeans are for legs, not for broom handles) end up looking like an emaciated, sickly person, because pants the width of a roll of wrapping paper are loose on their bodies, similar to the way TIGHTS look LOOSE on sickly, dying, wasting away people. I don't really care if I come off sounding rude, it wasn't my intention and I made no personal jabs at you, so you shouldn't be taking what I'm saying as a personal attack.

Yeah. I have a size 1 of Tripp pants and they're REALLY tight, as if they are smaller than a size 0. They felt like they were a 0 when I got them. Plus they also shrink.

The way you're coming at me seems like you implied it and it's coming off as rude, which offends me.

I personally I like it, think it's comfortable, and I'm not buying into a fad.

People with "Bieber hair" (And I hate that I'm mentioning him) aren't copying him, it's just become more popular because of him.

I don't insult your fashion sense or what you find attractive, because I honestly don't care.

Do whatever makes you happy, I'm in no position to judge.

If your legs are that skinny, you're going to look sickly wearing anything. But I agree that slim jeans look better than skinny in most cases.

I agree with her. I think they make a guy look sickly but if it what you like then my opinion doesnt really mean anything. When I was younger I used to wear the wayyy oversized leg jeans so I have no room to talk really. I grew out of that phase, its just funny to see it go the complete opposit from oversize legs to super skinny.

I didn't know OT took fashion so seriously. There are worse clothing ideas than skinny jeans. Don't worry, I will get out my list.

Like I said, I don't know what your body is like, which is why i said IF. I don't care if you're offended, this is the internet, not everyone is going to agree with you or kiss your ass when they don't. I didn't argue about whether or not they were comfortable, and I don't care what your preference is. You are the one who stated that you wore them 4 years ago, as if you were ahead of the times or something. You weren't. And I have to ask, did overlong hair look any more or less D-baggy before Bieber fever showed up? Nope. Did he start the fad? Nope. But then again, he doesn't go around saying "Yeah, I had mop head 4 years ago" as if he beat out the masses to that style. I didn't insult your fashion sense either, I simply said if you happen to have a skeletal body, skintight is probably not the most flattering for you. Again, I stated I don't know what your body is like, but the statement still stands. I think you need a nap or something, because you're getting much too angry over a differing opinion.

When I first saw those pants, the first thing I thought was goth and out of style. If someone wants to wear outrageous stuff, fine, but at least wear stuff made for your body type. As I said before, those appear to be women's pants due to the size chart. That means a guy who wants to buy them needs to be small (think 5' 5" and 100 pounds) to even fit in them decently from the looks of things.

Now, as far as skinny jeans (when did someone first come up with that term) goes, one should have a bit of meat on their bones so they can fill them out properly, but if someone is husky or a stick person, stay away from them. As far as me, I will stick to my straight leg Levi's 505s (or Carhartt canvas pants).

Imo. I think they both need one. I know they are both entitled to there opinions. But telling someone to take a nap over argument isn't going to stop it. =P It just gonna make it worse if the person is already mad.
