what is wrong with eating meat, or Bacon for that matter? i made a thread about how i love Bacon at a Union and someone said i was a sadist for liking Bacon. is it wrong to eat meat and to love the taste of Bacon? OT what are your thoughts on this?
reminds me of the thread we had a month or so ago with some user claiming we were all mental cases for eating meat and said it wasnt healthy and we were killing ourselves......we didnt get to the top of the food chain or develop our bodies to be simply herbivores...we are omnivores and some people just can't accept that apparently.
well when you think about it we are ending the life of another innocent creature for our own benefit... but we don't take pleasure in the pain that we cause. So no, meat eaters are not sadists

I have no problem with taking the life of another being to consume that delicious meat. Besides humans of course. Less Fallout 3 becomes a reality. Then.. well.. I figure a soul is like A1 sauce.

I don't eat meat. The reason I started was because of moral reasons. Now, I don't think about it anymore, I just don't do it. I don't hold it against people who don't eat meat, nor do I feel myself to be a moral superior to someone because they eat meat. Also, it's not sadistic to eat meat, unless like imagining the suffering a pig goes through while eating somehow makes it more pleasurable for you.

Maybe it was just satisfaction in the form of steak sauce. Even Texas Roadhouse could not approach.

we only do what every animal does at industrial level, we kill other animals to eat their meat, its how nature works, is how our body works, i dont see anything wrong with that.
