i don't hate him :P but i dislike how his name and 'character', so to speak, has become so popular in quite a bit of peoples eyes. Although i do suppose it's just a joke. No one worships him that way, hahah. Irritating fad nontheless tho. Just tiring.

Hell no. I can't even be truthful in what I think of the OT crowd because I'd be banned for it. In short, Gamespot users are bandwagon jumping meme stealers who are always late to the party. I won't go into detail into the elitism vibe I get from many users either. The other half I can't comment on because that would get me suspended at least for trolling/insulting other users.
"den y r u stil heer" Because I've been here for a long time, on other boards, which had good users. I was never big on the Gamespot community as a whole, but rather the small groups I was a part of. *Shrugs* That being said, I'm not saying there aren't still users out there who I like. :)

*looks at flockdraw* We can't. :P I've seen flockdraws of sites that are known to have horrible users that were much more epic than any one GS has used. Less genitals, less erasing everything or writing/drawing over stuff, less general hate.... I don't understand it. GS actually has the most immature community from my experience.

Well that is usual for a forum like this. Thread repeat themselves after a while, and sometimes it is positive, other times it is negative etc.
Well if you want to count all of Gamespot the other forums are holding us down, especially some of those scamps in system wars. But OT is pretty much Gamespot's fines and brightest and we're right up there with the big dogs.
you get slapped for the littlest of things here. So no. Fuhgeddabouditt
I always thought of it this way - yes tight rules may result in 'good' posters getting a slap on the hand every now and then, but it weeds out the trolls / annoying users really fast making for an overall better forum.
