[QUOTE="EwanMac"]How can anyone be MORE coloured than anyone else. That's like saying Earth is more of a planet than Mars.kurama2002

Well it's more of a planet than Pluto, I can tell you that.

Well,it's a dwarf planet,so technically it's 'more' of a planet, but both are planets. But sense white isn't a color,it's like saying a dog is more of a dog than a cat.

But white people arent white they are somewhat a light peachy color.

Except for those with albinism. I suppose they are the only truly 'white' people.

the question mark arises

The statement "White is all of the colours", when I read it seemed to carry an implicit meaning that "White" is open to and receptive of all colours i.e embracing, when in fact in life and in history this hasn't been the case.

Nah I just find it interesting to argue about it. I like to sit back at watch the reaction of OTers when I say something controversial.

Historical relevance? You see people making jokes about 9/11, the Holocaust, Virginia Tech shootings and you whine about crap like that? I didn't mean any offense to black people, I was only making a point, I hate generalizations, and I hate it even more when it becomes some kind of twisted double standard.

Well to have a good discussion....*sets of debate table with two glasses of water*

Double standards built this country man. White people basically set themselves up for the double standard that goes on today.

I know that the white man has in a way brought this on himself, but I think we need to remove these double standards if we are to move on into a future without prejudices and without hate between races. I condone equality.

If we continue to ignore these double standards, it's only going to breed bitterness between the minorities and the majority. Is that really what you want?

I called you weird because i didnt understand you. But now i do and your not weird, and i was foolish to judge you before i knew you. Back on subject the media, like television, comedians, Hollywood uses these double standards alot and they reach out to the public everyday. The media is why the black, white, Asian ,Mexican stereotypes are what they are today. We might as well accept these double standards and stuff cause there not gonna go away. Deal with it.

Now I'm not trying to say anything racial, just that I came across this pic and it's text, and it sorta made me chuckle. So I'm just wondering if anyone else agrees with the pic.

Any justification to this?

Don't a lot of black people's skin get lighter as they get older. I was watching the new before (this must have been a few years ago) and they were talking about elections for Oakland's mayor...And their mayor appeared to be a black man, pretty old with white hair and everything, but I swear by looking at his skin he easily could have passed as a white man. It was just so light. I'll find a picture of him soon.

Anybody who is offended by this is seriously a baby. All it's saying is white peoples skin color changes, while black people's don't. That's not racist.
