Usually I am... but sometimes I am weak. I used to be pathetic though. What you are describing seems severe... why not try and get some help? A lot of the time things that seem impossible to overcome do have solutions, you just need someone to show them to you.
I'm very insecure. So much so that I rarely leave my house or spend time with anyone. I don't try to get with girls, in fact I avoid them due to fear of rejection. I don't think I'm a bad looking person, but I feel so uncomfortable when outside, as if everyone is staring at me. When I go into a public area it's asif I don't belong. When someone starts taking pictures I immediately walk away. It's strange and I can't explain why I'm like this.
Does anyone else here suffer from a severe lack of confidence or is OT full of cool cats?

Nothing of that has to do with being confident or insecure.
I'm pretty confident because I learned to only open my mouth when I know what I'm talking about. I don't go out often because I'm introverted and despise small talk, not because I'm "insecure".
Being cocky = being OVER confident. A lot of people confident on the grounds of nothing. (Delusion) I'm only confident about my looks, everything else about me is just embarrassing.
Yes. l believe l'm the only agent of my life and of my own happiness. I don't think anyone deserves anything, you have to earn it. That's why the only way to get anything is to go get it yourself, no one or thing is going to get it for you. l don't feel shame in wanting happiness, l don't feel guilt in learning the ability to get it, and l don't need other peoples sanction for me to chase it. People care far too much about what other people think.
