That's true, but I don't need to conform because I'm a damn genius!BrainSplatter89By acknowledging that you in fact failed in conforming, you admit to being incorrect when first stating that you 'excell' in everything you do. You are just making mistakes all over the place tonight.

[QUOTE="BrainSplatter89"]You have a knack for stating the obvious. Yeah, I admitted. No biggie.savingerIt most certainly is a 'biggie' for someone who claims to be a genius. What does being a genius have to do with making a spelling error? Quit being so jealous.
What does being a genius have to do with making a spelling error? Quit being so jealous.BrainSplatter89I would say it has quite alot to do with being a genius, especially one of your self-acclaimed stature. In this case, I would suggest that the spelling error, in addition to your other logical fallacies, would prove that you are in fact, not a genius. QED

It only has something to do with your misperception of what a genius is.
No, I'm not a genius... and I can prove it:
I aced every single math quiz and final in college. Then I got suckered into tutoring math for a year.
A genius would have failed one or two quizzes in order to avoid tutoring people whose entire view of math consistes of "x^3+17= 51; therefore, I shall get the tutor to solve it for me."
Therefore, I fail at "genius." :D

I knew that also.Ok. What was Thales's (another pre-socratic philosopher - one of the 7 geniouses of antiquity) theory of the world?[QUOTE="BrainSplatter89"]I knew that also.Teenaged

[QUOTE="BrainSplatter89"] I knew that also.DrSpongeThank you for clearing that up for us we were dying to know. I figured Teenaged my know the answer so I let him savor the glory. After all, I'm the one that thought him philosophy.
Don't mind the edits.

He is wrong, obviously. There is no air in space. I have proven Thales wrong, people![QUOTE="Teenaged"][QUOTE="BrainSplatter89"] Thales had some sort of theory that is applied in... mathematics. Yeah, that's right.BrainSplatter89:o My god you ARE a genious :o :P

Being a genious dosn't mean you do well in tests or that you'ld be thought of as clever by most people you may even find handling abstract theories hard because there is a link missing or you have too many other possibilities floating round in your head. Being a genius means that you can understand complicated abstract theories it dosn't mean you're book smart and without the right book smarts genius is pretty much useless.
I think i fit into the genius/very intelligent band but i llack everything else that would make me seem intelligence, i lack focus, willpower, concentration and i have a strange memory that seems to remember the least useful stuff best. Also i can't understand theories if there is a hole in it that has not been explained or if it is not logical, though i can deal with complex theories perfectly fine when they haven't been simplified as there arn't any holes in them, if i don't understand it or it's not logical to me i quite often just reject it unless i read more into it to fill the holes so there can be quite simple theories i don't understand. I also tend to look at things from every angle, i know as a kid i was the only kid in my class who when asked to draw a picture of a car that drew it from the front instead of the side. Anything that dosn't fit some sort of theory or equation i tend to find dificult, i even had these sort of structures for my English and History essays back in HS.
So yeah, i may technically be a genius but it dosn't really help me.
I believe I am. I have a wide array of skills and excell at everything I do in life. :DBrainSplatter89I hear some interesting things about you, BrainSplatter. All nonsense, of course. :) Anyway, to the topic, I have a Mensa level intelligence quota. Does that make me a genius? I don't know. It just means I'm clever. :P

Actually, being a genius isn't only about understanding some old theories. It's about applying what you know in a very creative manner.Being a genious dosn't mean you do well in tests or that you'ld be thought of as clever by most people you may even find handling abstract theories hard because there is a link missing or you have too many other possibilities floating round in your head. I believe I am. I have a wide array of skills and excell at everything I do in life. :DBrainSplatter89Nope not a genius, according 2 my IQ I'm just above average...thats it :|
Yeah, I'm pretty smart and am also good at pretty much everything I do.
I have a lot of intuition.
so your average 45 year old L.A criminal detective is a genius too? By those standards, i believe we can safely conclude that we are all genius material. :)Depends. What criteria must one meet to be a genius?Shiggums
You need to take a 15 minute internet IQ test and get over 135.
