Personally, I'm a huge fan of Netflix and has been a subscriber for the past three years and counting. Furthermore, I have been binge watching the Netflix original series "The House of Cards" - this TV series is freaking amazing.

I love netflix and think it might be the best service money can buy. Have watched many a great show thanks to it.
Netflix is a great and defiantly the best service for only $7.99 a month is well worth it. I normally don't watch T.V that much but I like using Netflix on my next-gen consoles when I'm ready to take a break from gaming. Just finishing rewatching Heroes series and just getting started on Wakfu. It's good so far.

Seriously? That's freaking amazing. With that price tag every household should have a Netflix subscription.
Netflix was one of the main reasons I cut the cord. That, along with Hulu Plus made me ask myself why I even needed cable. Sure, it sucks that I have to wait until the next day to watch shows like Arrow and Flash but it's better than paying for something I don't use very often.
In addition to that, when I discovered Unblockus it opened up a lot of movies I couldn't watch before. Switched to the French Netflix a few days ago just so I could watch Dark Knight Rises.
I liked it alot when I used to have it but haven't subscribed in a while but for the most part I prefer to Browse the web,Play games, or Watch Anime on Crunchyroll versus watching movies in my free time.
It's not available in my country.
Sorry netfix is not available in your country. :(
That's what VPNs and DNS switchers are for. There are several websites out there that supposedly show you how to use a foreign credit card on the website.

Do you not get the networks over antenna?
19 Free OTA stations + Netflix = **** cable.
Just started using it a few months back: use VPN because the UK version sucks. Been watching TNG. Will move onto Deep Space 9 afterwords.
Generally: for the last few years, i'v been using "Sky go". I love criminal investigation.

Out of curiosity, have you had any problems with your VPN? I use HOLA and it sometimes it would go on and off.
Actually I like the UK version because it has better quality movies. i guess the grass is greener on the other side. :P

Nope: works fine.
The UK has some stuff the US doesn't get I get enjoyed. Alan Partridge and Louis Theroux.
Show wise: we get fucked royally. Doesn't even have the full set of seasons of TNG let alone any of DS9,

Nope, not where I live. Went through two antennas and none of them could get more than three channels, one of which was PBS.
Netflix is alright. Showing series after they end is not great, but more ambitious shows like Star Trek which have a wide period of time before many of their elements are real or more timeless shows like certain anime are a discount compared to how much they cost for Blu-Ray editions (One season can cost over seventy dollars in the case of Star Trek). Those are sometimes worth watching. It is discount viewing, but mostly after a show has aired or a film has reached stores for acquisition, so there are pros and cons.
I cancelled my subscription near the beginning of autumn this year and replaced it with Amazon Prime for a different, but not necessarily better selection from the Prime Instant Video category.
I haven't used it in a while. I let my parents use it and I know they watch it often. Still use cable, Sky at least has given me more compared to what US cable companies offer for the same price.
I don't think I've ever tried Netflix and used it enough to say if I prefer it over cable or not. I have tried Hulu Plus though, not that bad of a place to find some good old shows and catch up on episodes, only problem is I think there's still some short ad breaks.
Netflix is the business... Until it starts deleting movies and shows you wanted to watch. I was in the middle of Inuyasha when they took it down, lol. I wasn't a happy camper and it's never been brought back. Some other anime I really liked that isn't up anymore are Clannad, Clannad After Story, Angel Beats and Chobits. Might just buy some of them on Bluray on my next paycheck though.

Analysts believe this is going to become more prevalent as the years wear on. The streaming market is becoming more fragmented, and it will eventually form what is basically an IPTV cable service with the different services forming "channels".
Not a fanatic, but definitely a fan. $8/month for more content than $100/month of cable can provide. In HD no less.

Why not have both? I have Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime. I am thinking of cancelling the Hulu Plus though cause noone in my house watches it.
I love Netflix, just finished 4 seasons of The Walking Dead, started Boardwalk Empire. The Wire, Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, and American Horror Story are coming up.
Rewatched The Sopranos a few months ago, my intro to Breaking Bad was the first 3 seasons on Netflix. And finally I watched the first 2 Hunger Games movies on Netflix a few weeks ago.

Anyone ? I thought you had to pay for HuLu ? Is it free ?

I would skip American Horror Story. Couldn't even finish the first season it was just so terribly written...
A series you SHOULD consider watching instead is The Returned AKA Las Revenants. It is a French show with only one season so far, but it is really cool with a wonderful atmosphere. Basic premise is that in this small town in the hills of France, different people who have been dead for varying times all of a sudden just turn back up in town with no memory of having died.

Horribly written? I would disagree. American Horror Story, especially the second season, is incredible. IMO it's horror done right.

They seriously do the same twist REPEATEDLY in the first season. I got so done with that lazy ass, sloppy writing. It was flat out AWFUL!
Oh and horror done right should include SOME sort of a scare factor. It was not scary at all.
@LostProphetFLCL:
Same twist repeatedly? wtf are you talking about?
I wouldn't say it's jump scary, it's more like the mere thought of horror or what might happen. I don't know how to explain it but it's a different type of scary. Maybe it's perverted scary?
Go count how often someone is randomly revealed to be a ghost. It is damn ridiculous...
