Being half white and half black I can say anything I want about the two so...why do so many white people have no idea what racism is? The same can be said about black people when somebody talks negative about a black man...he is immediately considered racist ...

Stereotypes are created because generally a certain group of people behave in that way.

If you associate blacks with ghettos, for instance, you are as racist as someone in the KKK. You might not do the horrible things KKK people do, but in essence you are the same crap inside.

Anywho, I'm somewhat racist, being Jewish and all, we've been **** over many times throughout history :P But yeah, I'm somewhat racist against germans, and a tiny bit against Palestinians, though, one of my best friends is Palestinian, so, who knows.

Why are there people in this thread lumping everybody together as alittle bit racist? Does it make them feel more secure in their own racist beliefs?

I'm not and its really not that hard not to be racist.

Yes but people who associate a stereotype with a race aren't racist, just prejudice.

For example the phrase "Asian people are good at math" is not a racist statement, just a prejudice one. But people use the terms interchangeably. Often in an attempt to shame someone out of voicing an opinion.

I think he meant that just because you are of the same race as a certain race, it does not give you the abilty to say what ever you want as opposed to someone of a different race.

You can say whatever you want(freedom of speech) , but it does not give you a free pass.
