I have been for a year so far.
90% of the music on my Ipod is Metal.

It's about all I've been listening to the past 2 weeks or so. It makes up about 1/3 of my music library.
Yeah, too much of it can cause blood poisoning or something after a while. No, because then I would get sick.

Nope, never have, never will.

This is an interesting question for me, because I wouldn't say I'm addicted like its all I listen to, the amount of Metal I listen to rivals the amount of Prog and Industrial I listen to, but its not like I could just give it all up because there are way too many memories and the **** is awesome.
I used to be obsessed with metal, but one day I just stopped listening to it. I think I was 15.t3hrubikscubeDo you think the same will happen to me before I turn 16 in three months? :P
Hell YEAH!!!!!!
btw, only 90%!!!! my ipod is 99.99% METAL!!! I have some songs of dif genres and jokes.
8600 are songs :D
Very much so. Metal is almost as important to my life as oxygen. :P Darth-Caedus
I'm pretty sure I'd take metal of oxygen, what's the point of being able to breath if I can't enjoy metal while I do it?
I love Metal. Just as much as I love Post-Rock, Classical, Jazz Fusion, Pyscadelic Rock and Electronica.
All genre's have great stuff in them...seek hard enough..and you will find.
All genres is pushing it. Addicted? Could maybe call it that, I've fallen asleep to metal every night in the last 3 years and if I somehow don't have access to it I get some serious sleeping trouble. Speakers are broke at the moment so I've had 3-4h sleep the last couple of days, how does one sleep without music? Awfully boring and doesn't work :/I love Metal. Just as much as I love Post-Rock, Classical, Jazz Fusion, Pyscadelic Rock and Electronica.

I would have agreed with you a year ago...but age has mellowed me. As long as someone, somewhere enjoys a piece of music, then I feel no need to criticize them for listening to it. Even if it doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. I have my own opinions about which bands and genres are in my mind, clearly "better" than others, but I won't force my opinion down peoples throats as fact.
