Are you afraid of looking at ur gamespot inbox for moderation mails?

I hardly ever get anything in my inbox and when I do it's either someone tracking me or a moderation. Though I haven't been moderated for awhile.

Theres no way getting out of it, Horgen. -- i WILL get banned from gamespot eventually, its just a question of time. I make too many sarcastic replys, and i fail to sugarcoat every comment i make, and the wrong person reads it and reports it. Given my brief time in gamespot, i have already accumulated a fairly extensive list of moderation history. BiancaDK

I feel the same. I know getting banned here is inevitable for me.....and not just because of my posting sty1e but also because I don't grovel at the MODs' feet like a ton of other users do. I talk to the MODs like adults and I don't accept the "High & Mighty" attitude some of them have.....and I'm sure I've made a few mod-enemies along the way.

I don't want to get banned, but I'm not going to sugarcoat all my posts either. We posters shouldn't need to worry all the time if our posts will offend some overly sensitive person or not.

I have not experienced some of the things of which you speak. One being the "high and mighty" attitude. =] And sure there are some people that suck up to the mods, simply because they are mods, but i honestly believe that people are being well mannered around them for two reasons. One of them is that you dont yell out "FTP" when the cops are standing next to you. The other reason would be that the moderators, believe it or not, actually tend to be really nice individuals.

Again, im not worried about getting banned, so i dont really think we share dispositions on this matter, except for the notion of you believing in the impending doom of banishment heading your way, too. =]

Oh, read some of the threads in the AtM forum and you'll see the "High & Mighty" attitude I'm talking about. :) I've also experienced said attitude in a a few PM convos I've had with some MODs. And I agree that most of the MODs in OT are nice people.

Also, I'm not at all worried about getting banned here. If it happens, it happens. There are plenty of other forums, with far less overzealous MODs, to post at. I just feel my banishment here is inevitable.

Sometimes when I see a new message in my inbox and I just know I have done something that could have been modable.... I get weird like that.
