~-~How the hell should I know why? I just am. Unless you meant what is social anxiety like, in which case I do know. It's when you are afraid of being judge of what people think of you. (or at least for me) So normal things like walking through a mall or ordering food from Mc Donald's is really really uncomfortable. If I mess up saying something I feel like a complete fool and take it too far. Of course I don't tell people I felt like an idiot doing that because that would make me look obsessive and they'll think I'm some weird obsessive person who can't get over the thought of looking like an idiot in front of people..... yea...>.> Yes, it is irrational, I know. You know its weird i want from being pretty popular a year back, and now I have been plaugend with social anxiety. Everytime i talk to my someone... even my family i over anaylze everything and just act wierd, not myself. Maybe its my hormones going crazy during puberty or something, but lately it has been really interfering with my life. I wish it would stop. I used to be so laid back, but now i literally shake whenever i talk to someone. Hmmmm I hate it!
No, but im sick and tired of being expected to be the first one to say something especially when I know a girl has been eyeing me or some other act that precludes communication. And the same applies for saying 'hi' or getting to know somebody, it seems like I always have to be the person to instigate conversation. It baffles me completely, maybe im somehow offputting in my demeanor, tone, attitude, or who knows what.

I used to be like that man, but after the first time i got laid then i was Mr cool dude and now it's awesome cos i can't enough of it
If I really like the person, I can get scared to talk to her because I might not be sure what to say. But rarely does it happen, I have a lot of friends that are girls.
I'd say I'm a little shy around some girls, but I'm certainly not scared of them. I can hold a good conversation with most girls, I just don't have much experience talking to them so that might be my problem.
