I do a lot of freehand drawing but i've not got much on my system to show. I would draw something up but I got to go out in 20 mins, so maybe later. Searching through my system all I got in there at moment is my sig, my avatar, and a few joke drawings which I made for a previous off-topic thread titled "Post your scary child drawings here". But because that's suppose to look like childrends drawings it's designed to look like kids stuff and doesn't really show off what I do.

I found something a little odd. It's not brilliant but I found a screenshot montage I made up of my City of Heroes / Villains characters. I'll slap them on here :P

Domnika: Elite trained soldier gone rogue, uses a specialized machine gun. Hates balds guys.

Maintenance Man! Super strong, unbreakable.Beats evil doers to death with a monkey wrench.

Steel Crow: Flying, sword wielding electrified, cybernetic homicidal maniac. Also hates Lex Luther look a likes.

Eh, well, the most recent thing I did was my art final piece. Done over 3 canvases in oil paints. I wasn't as happy with the end result, but my art teacher seemed pleased enough.

No, no, no. This has nothing to do with a silly game, let me explain.

I wanted to create an aesthetic master piece, to manifest my expressive conceptual intention. At first I wanted to create a post-modernistic painting, or possibly a Post-painterly Abstraction. But then I decided to go for complete photorealism, with heavy cultural and religious undertones. As you can see the picture illustrates a creature that looks a bit like an ant, by doing this I wanted to capture the industriousness and cooperative effort of mankind in todays society, along with the relationship between society and the individual.

But I also wanted to describe the evil acts and thoughts of mankind, personified through this evil entity.

Never finished it because SAI trial expired booooo.

Tim_Q, the food looks fab and some of the photos are really strong. You need to play about with lighting and maybe use white backgrounds. The best photo is the last one - the composition is fab and the background is plain which draws attention to the food itself. You don't seem to have a macro lens - macro photography goes so well with food! You can pick up macro filters quite cheap. Also short depth of fields (where the background is all blurry) look stunning with food photography - try setting your camera to a larger aperture (smaller F number like 2.8, 5.3 etc) Keep up the tasty work! gingefails, the paintings are stunning!
