I only get noticed when I say something stupid, like Chinese African-American, or when I take what has already been said previously in a thread but take it up to eleven.

I think there's a few people who have known me for a while, but most have left or don't really communicate to me much anymore so these days I just tend to stand in the corner watching more often than not and just pop in and out topic and mood depending. 

I sometimes think so not just on off-topic, but gamespot in general along with pretty much every site I sign up for on the internet and I'm pretty invisible outside of the internet.

i guess, but lots of ppl post here and not everyone can be popular. OT is pretty much like any other society; you join it, you spend some time shaping your character, after a while you assume a role that should be played out. most folks don't like their role so they nag once in a while, but they still do their part.

It depends how often you post, if you have a memorable sig/avy, or if your posts are controversial.

I'm certainly not well known but I think everyone who posts in OT regularly knows me or at least recognizes me.
