I cant get away from my friends at college (ive been with them literally 24/7 since early september), so I'm happy to be on my Thanksgiving break for the next 2 weeks where I can be all by myself

Only very recently, I can't seem to be on the same wavelength and when my friends do something I seem to always either miss the call or thanks to my sleeping habits be passed out.

Yes...but no one cares..most of the time people associate loneliness with either being ugly or being a nerd..like when someone finds out i have no friends they're like "wow you must have issues"..i don't have issues! :cry:

I know I'm a Nerd. So, It doesn't really bother me.

Nah I don't feel lonely at all =P

My school is small so we all know each other pretty well and get along real great~ But I also like to spend time on my own a lot. People can't make you happy only you can (cheesy saying, I know). So I don't rely on people to make me feel better. If I ever do feel lonely I just get out of the house or do something productive to take my mind off life~

Yeah I'm pretty lonely. I have friends and people who care about me, but I don't see them as often as I'd like to. Growing up and having responsibilties kind of sucks, but it's necessary.

Definitely not, considering the fact that I'm engaged to be married, my family freakin loves me, and I have a small group of really good friends along with a lot of acquaintances. It wasn't always like that though. TBH, high school sucked for me. I was the outcast of all outcasts. Never really wanted to kill myself or anything, but there was a time when dying seemed like the best thing in the world. After high school though, I lost a lot of weight (about sixty pounds), grew a few inches taller, cut my hair much shorter, and worked out a lot. Just goes to show you that this world puts way too much emphasis on appearance. That changing the way I look could change my life so drastically is a testament to how petty people truly can be.

Well, I am not really physically (or emotionally) ready for a girlfriend, and I generally go out once a week which is all I really need, but it would be nice if I had a friend that just wanted to hang out and did the same stuff I do.

I am an introvert, though, so if I am not downtown drinking, working, or at the gym I am generally doing stuff inside by myself.

i am very lonely and completely fine with it. people always seem to just let me down, so i try my hardest to keep them away from me.

No. I am in just about the perfect situation...for me I am a hermit at heart, but good in social situations. I have just enough friends to keep me busy, but so many as to annoy me. I have to see people all day at work, so it is nice to have some me time in addition to party and work timerawsavon

yea, its weird...at work I deal with strangers (customers) too, but it is weird how socializing with them really kind of satisfies whatever urges I have to hang out with people.
