I talk all the time. I like to say humorous things like, "Whoa, watch out behind you!!!", "Oh man, he is right behind you.", "What goes around comes around, sucker.", and "Well, that'll hurt in the morning!".

I only really go to art house cinemas these days. Nobody talks in those. No problems.

I wait for movies to be released on DVD, that way I avoid all of the problems of movie theaters.:)

Wait, so I'm not allowed to talk during movies? Not even just a phone conversation in the cinema? :(

I almost never say a word when I'm watching a movie, whether it be at home or at a theater. (Includes laughing)

I talk during movies, but it's about the movie. It's more like commentary though. Stuff like "Whoa did you see that?" "Dude that was freaking awesome!" "Holy crap that was awesome!" "That was kind of cheesy."Chojuto

According to this thread, everyone in OT wants to yell at you/kick you/throw popcorn at you. Make sure to bring a suit of armor.

If I don't like it I get told to shutup frequently, cuz I would sooner entertain myself by ridiculing it regardless of whether other people are enjoying it. They shouldn't like crap and the problem would be solved.

Haha yes...but when I do, I just whisper really quietly to a friend. I don't make my business public to the whole theater.

No, usually I'm the person that tells them to shut the hell up.

I hate when people talk during movies. They are for watching, not discussing... super_mario_128
Exactly, watch it and talk about it AFTER. I get very irritated when people talk during movies.

Ok, I totally admit to being a movie Nazi - I get really irritated if people around me are talking too much, or sometimes if they are talking at all. Will anyone admit to being the guilty party in this situation?

backinthekrak
YES. I don't mind the occasional loud chip-bag cruncher too much... But if people can be so inconsiderate to babble on during a movie, they need to be punched in the spinal cord. Even when I'm at home, I like to watch movies with headphones. Helps with the immersion. Especially with THRILLERS =D
