no, probably not in 3 days, but i will eventually get it. i might wait till they fix any bugs with it or something, even though the Release Candidate and subsequent versions are said to run pretty well.
I already upgraded. Thanks MSDNAA!cd_romI totally forgot about the MSDNAA back in July when I preordered because I'd just joined. :( Oh well. :P
Yea, I ordered Home Premium upgrade to replace Vista. Vista is ok, but it is very annoying and quirky. I've read several reports that Windows 7 is what Vista was supposed to be, a natural progression of XP without all the crap and bloatware Vista comes with.
I've been running the full version of Windows 7 for two months now, my uni's MSDN program has it up there at no cost to myself.
There is no need to upgrade. Windows XP is better. nchanNot really I would rather have a decent functioning 64-bit OS then XP 32-bit or the half assed 64-bit version they released. 8GB RAM is really top notch when your OS can use it all.

Not really. There's not a whole lots of software or games that take advantages of 64bit or direct x 11. Plus to an average consumer, XP is sufficient. Less driver problems and more compatibility.
