Jack Bauer's back, this time to stop an assassination attempt during a peace conference. It should be good, especially with the momentum from last season. Hopefully, it'll carry over. Last night was like Christmas Eve night. I was so excited just thinking about 24 premiering! I'm also watching Human Target. That should be good. 24 has to be good or else!

Yes I am watching. Should be interesting. This is supposed to be the last season I am fairly sure, which sucks but then they are supposed to make a movie but who knows how that would turn out

I'll watch it. I've never seen it before, so I think it's time to give it a try.

I can't wait. Besides Lost, 24 is probably my favorite tv show.

During the 7th season there were rumblings about season 8 being the last, but now they will probably see where this season takes them before making a decision whether to continue or not. Both Sutherland and Fox are open to a 9th season

They wont know until around halfway through the season, according to the TV Guide article I read. And they already technically did a 24 movie, with the whole Redemption thing last year. If they made it like that, then the movie would be freaken awesome.

Ya but I was refering to a send off sort of movie. Redemption was more of a filler

Executive Producer Howard Gordon says on the future-film, "My hope is to go [shoot the feature film] after the eighth season. That's sort of what we're aiming for. I think that a big-screen24will be a fitting send off for Jack."

I love how they make the season premiere a two night four hour event. It's great. Usually they build enough momentum in those two days for me to be ok (while still being tortured) waiting each week for another hour.
