So did The Rock do anything?

I watched WrestleMania tonight. It was decent (not amazing), but of course people on the internet are gonna be like "ZOMG THAT WAS THE WORST GARBAGE EVER!!!"
Oh well. Haters gonna hate.
Nah, haven't watched wrestling in over 20 years, but I am surprised to hear Undertaker is still wrestling. I quit watching about the same time he started wrestling. Nice to hear old favorites are still around.

He practically died out there tonight. :P
Still put on a good match though.
you can tell the wrestlers aren't as creative and able to improvise like the old ones because they have to base nearly all the matches around a injury that they have sustained before the fight starts.
Wrestlemania was pretty poor.
what annoyed me most was:
1. Poor matches lacking any decent wrestling
2. Jerry Lawler beat Cole but that Raw GM ruins things again by DQing Lawler
3. Main event sucked Cena is such a poor wrestler he does the same moves every match
There were some redeeming factors
1. Rock and Stone Cold were awesome
2. Taker and HHH had a good match
3. Best part for me was Rock costing Cena the championship and beating up Miz
[QUOTE="worlock77"][QUOTE="jediknight52501"]how about the death of Owen Hart, was that fake? no, it was real and it happened.jediknight52501Not applicable. Owen didn't really die from wrestling, he died from a botched stunt that had nothing to do with the wrestling.still it was a Wrestling event that it happened at, so it still happened. But he did not die from wrestling, therefore it does not apply.
I started watching wrestling 25 years ago, and things like that have always been going on.you can tell the wrestlers aren't as creative and able to improvise like the old ones because they have to base nearly all the matches around a injury that they have sustained before the fight starts.

Dracula68
He was pretty worthless to have on the show imo.
He was there so Miz can win yet again with outside help. This guy can't win any other way.Other than that, he was worthless. His 15 minute intro was lame and the short segments featuring him were pretty bad honestly with Peewee Herman and Mae Young. The Stone Cold/Rock confrontation was nice and sweet but I was reading about the Sheamus match being not aired because of time constraints. I would rather have no Rock and to be able to watch that match.
hey is Randy Orton gona be on this Mania? hes the only one i remember that was cool

Yea, he was in it. He beat CM Punk.

i would rather have no snoop dog as the first thing that got axed. and the whole mocking rebecca black thing could of gone bye bye too. therefore we could still have rock and the sheamus/bryan match.[QUOTE="ExoticAnimal"][QUOTE="Dracula68"] He was there so Miz can win yet again with outside help. He's actually making a movie right now so I doubt that he'll be wrestling at all. WWE needs to promote its younger wrestlers because they are the future and not some classic wrestlers returning once like Stone Cold and the Rock. The Snoop Dog bit was lame and the singing was just a waste of time.
I kept waiting for the Undertaker to have a heart attack and die. He's almost 50 and he looked like complete crap.

If you saw this RAW (2/14) he says he is back and it didn't seem like he meant just for Wrestlemania.

He was coming off of rehabilitation and still isn't fully recovered. He still looked great yesterday giving off an unbelievable performance.

Link doesn't work. I know what you're referring to though. I saw that clip myself a while back. But go ahead and look at what movies he's making this and next year. 3 movies. Doesn't leave a whole lot of time to be a full time wrestler. Hopefully he does wrestle and settle the feud going on with Cena.

Well I do hope he stays around because what was the point then to the build up with Cena? If it was just around to interfere they didn't have to stretch it out that much to make it seem likie they are gonna go on feuding.

they say The Rock will be around till Summerslam, he did sign a one year contract with the WWE.So Bryan/Shaemus gets bumped off the show, and the 8-man tag gets reduced to a mere minute and a half, but that's okay! Because all that extra time was given to The Rock, so that he can promote himself and ultimately not do a damn thing to help hype up the actual show he was "hosting", or help make a single person in the WWE actually look good! Because screw John Cena and The Miz, who cares that they're our main talent, lets give it up for The Rock! The ex-wrestling movie star who's not going to be around to do any business with us in the next few months!
Jesus, the WWE is absolutely insane. Was this Wrestlemania, or just an episode of Raw leading up to Wrestlemania? I'm not even certain of that myself...
Well it's too bad The Rock was pretty much wasted. It would have been great that at the last minute he was inserted into the Miz/Cena match, turning it into a triple threat for the title. Or at least was a special referee.
THGarrett
No, what would have been great is if the WWE actually had confidence in their own current talent and not resorted to pointlessly bringing in The Rock to suck away all of the spotlight from every single current wrestler on the roster.

Well someone had to interfere so the Miz could retain. Who else did you want it to be?[QUOTE="TGM_basic"][QUOTE="THGarrett"]

Is there anywhere I can watch this? Is it still on PPV?
I really wanna see HHH vs Taker.ramealdabest
There's a place called youtube you can check it out there.
I was gonna watch a live stream, but after seeing the first match I got bored. The only interesting match was going to be Undertaker vs Triple H which was no rules (or something). Can't imagine how boring wrestlemania has gotten. It didn't even have a money in the bank match.
