[QUOTE="Jaks_Secret"]My parents aren't, but I think my 10-year-old sister is afraid of black people.Hydrolex
because someone in your family told something bad about black people
Nah, I know she developed it herself.

School could be a possibility. She hangs out with the stereotypical preppy pretty white kids, which sounds like a pretty good explanation.
My parents will sometimes use stereotypes but they're pretty understanding. My uncle uses a lot of racist words but I can tell he doesn't really mean them.
Depends on one's definition of 'racist'. My mom and dad (brown and white respectively) crack jokes about certain races all the time, but they don't feel any sincere hatred towards any particular race.
Not intentionally. They're just trying to be funny.
Such as in a Toyko hotel corridor, my dad bowed to me and said "wasabi".
No offense...but dad's sense of humor needs a little work.:PNot intentionally. They're just trying to be funny.

My mom said she doesnt find a black man physically appealing - except Seal.

This, except the part about Seal:P. My mom also says stuff about if I were to marry an Asian person that they'd be speaking their language and it would be annoying.. Sometimes I'm not sure if she's serious or not.

Haha yeah, I know. Luckily there was no-one around.
I call my mom racist, but she really isn't
Me and my brother can be pretty bad with the jokes and she says "who you callin racist?"
