I usually won't even go for that! Ever since high school, I've only seen anything in white, hispanic, and asian girls. My friends chastise me about it every chance they get....but then again most of them are mindless rap fanatics who don't know any better than to point out other people's differences:roll:
Not really. My grandparents are a lot better than they used to be, but I don't really mind it coming from them; they're from a different time, after all.
My parents no. My mother's traveled around a bit, lived in Haiti for a year or two and then married my dad who's Mexican. My dad suffers from a lot of racism here in the States though so he is definately not racist since he understands what it's like. My Grandpa's not really racist and always treat everyone else with respect it's just that he does make stereotypical jokes once in a while.
My stepmother is. I brought a hispanic girl home and later that day my stepmother was like "why aren't you with a black girl". Why the hell should it matter.

My parents grew up in Russia, and to be honest there are literally 3 black people in Russia. They grew up ignorant of black people, so I guess it makes sense that I can notice some racial undertones whenever black people become the topic of conversation.
I wouldn't call my parents racist but they are stereotypical to other race. I know for certain that they don't want me dating or marrying somebody who isn't asian. I'm asian by the way.

My Dad and I were both Police (Him Civilain, me military) in New Zealand and we both saw stuff time and again that has biased us against a certain race (Which out of courtesy will keep to myself to avoid stereotyping). I understand how terrible that sounds to some people, some will view it as totally indefensible, but I see it as - if a certain type of dog bites you 8 times out of ten, you have the right to be a little wary of that breed.
No, my mom was a Native American who grew up in a black ghetto and my father was Hispanic (Chicano back then) who grew up in a mixed neighborhood. Both parents taught me racism was wrong and I agree.
I still see the comedy in racial humor (not designed for hate purposes).
Not really, my dad say things every now and then that may sound racist tho, but it's stereotypes not really racism. But it does annoy me and i always end up getting mad at him.
My parents arent racist but my brother doesn't like white people that much,at his job the white guys called him a **** and he really turned racist.I like white people but I could never date a white woman there not my type at all.
Im pretty sure their not. My grandfather however was a huge racist. I prob heard the N word about 5 times a day when I was with him. But that was just the time he was from. Can't blame him for it.
I wouldn't say racist.. but my dad brings up racist remarks only when someone of another race pisses him off. Example: This black guy insisted we park in a particular space at a Houston Astros baseball game. (You know the guys who show everybody where to park after you pay, so they can fit as many cars in the lot as possible). Well, my dad didn't want to park there because it was a tight fit, and all. The black guy insisted he did. So after we got out, and went to the game, when we got back and were ready to leave, we couldn't get out of the space. We had to sit there for a long ass time waiting for the people to leave. My dad was pissed saying things like "stupid f****** n*****. I knew this **** was gunna happen".
And one time we were driving in a car and were stuck in traffic.. this big 18 wheeler behind us with a mexican driving it bumped into the back of us in traffic. My dad was like "Son of a *****.. f****** s**c. Stuff like that.
He has no problem with people of other races until they piss him off somehow, then he uses racist remarks.
Well we live in a town that is like 90% Asian, so since all we see is Asian people in the city, we tend to make remarks about them if we get pissed off at them, but it's mainly because we've been living with so many of them for so long, it starts to get annoying, because we only see 1 race being "annoying" or "stupid", instead of seeing all different kinds of people. But I have Asian friends and everyone in my family believes all races are equal and it doesnt matter what race you marry, etc. SO no, my parents aren't racist.
One of my aunts on my mom's side and her family can be pretty racist, but thats it. Its pretty awkward, actually...when they make racist jokes I just try to ignore them.
My mother is sort of racist. She doesn't like African Americans who aren't educated...yes it's horrible, but I just don't pay attention to what she says race-wise.
