yep parents have great jobs,my brothers and i still get loans every now and again.and i live quite a simple life i feel rich cause i want simple things and dont have expencive taste i feel like tony montana in this apartment
I wouldn't consider myself rich. We were more middle class in my youth but that changed. I wouldn't mind having more money, not to spend but just to be more safe and have stability in my family. Money issues can bring out the worst in people
currently overdue salary increase prevents my family for being rich altough my dad was a marine engineer in the past and I didnt got the chance to feel some.
Depends what you class as "rich".
I earn only $30,000 a year, which is poor here (average is $60,000). However I have $15,000 in the bank, which is good.
At the moment I'm earning $700 a week. Once I take rent ($160), transport ($70), phone ($15), and gym ($10) out per week it leaves me with about $450 a week disposable income, which isn't too bad.
On a scale of 1 (African child) to 10 (Bill Gates), I'd have to say I'm about a 5.5.
No I'm very poor. I also have been chronically verysick and suffering from constant tiredness and bodily weakness which prevents me from working and making some money.
If my father did not support me, I would be left with absolutely nothing. I would not have anything to eat and no roof over my head.
Depends on the comparison. Compared to someone living in a third world country, yes. Compared to homeless people, yes. Compared to Bill Gates, no.
Upper Middle Class
we would be rich if my dad didn't have a stroke, poor guy.

My Dad had a stroke back in September. It's totally hurting the finances, but really we just want him to get better.
My family is middle class, I'm finishing college soon and will have to look for a job, soo ...currently I'm technically unemployed and very very poor, I get allowance money from the family but I always ask for as little as I need, dont want to ask for much because they have other kids to support, so I live a very simple life and cant afford everything I want (my only luxury purchase was an xbox 360)
Nah, we used to be upper middle class is as far as we went.Victorious_Fize

Well i guess being upper middle class makes you rich in general and pretty good in your bracket as well.
My parents were before my dad got fired. Now we are 50% rich and 50% not rich (but not poor exactly).

Used to be... that was 4 years ago, we got into serious debts and had to sell our house and all that jazz. It was harsh, but we're recovering.[QUOTE="Ilovegames1992"][QUOTE="Victorious_Fize"]
