Are/Were you rich?

I wouldn't consider myself rich by most standards, but I suppose its relative, as i could still afford many kites and crackers for festivals.Chevolutionary

I would consider my family to be very cash strapped. And I mean the people I live with, as well as my relatives that live near me. None of the people in my family have any money.

Without some ground rules for what constitutes rich, I can't say. From what I've read, I'd be considered rich for my age, and I'm plenty rich for my purposes. But I'm not rich in the way that most people think of rich.

I can relate to this.

My family is not huge in sense, but the family name gets fairly common on people's minds specially in a small community such as Dubai. The various businesses that carry our name and what not. Its quite recognized enough to be a hotel name and, not to mention the various well known scandals and law suits that has already occured and were at a point the town's gossip.

Now my parents are not really business owners, but I can say they really do have means as to support paying for 3 medical schools. But in common sense; my own family is capable, but as if I would define them as rich? nope. We don't live in a mansion or drive fancy cars or any of that. Also, I was never spoiled.

As to myself, I have no money of my own and no job, basically mooching of my parents right now. So yeah, im really not rich at all.

But I hate being mistaken for a rich guy every single time I mention my full name. :x
