'Arrow in the knee' is dying

And thus, it is a sad time for many of us. We are deeply moved by the loss we're all sharing, but I am assured that we will be comforted by our memories which are very much alive. AITK was a kindhearted, generous meme, and we all shared this kindness and generosity. Through the pain of the arrow shared by the many guards throughout Skyrim, we connected in ways we never thought possible. May this time of grieving turn into a time of healing, and through our love and support, we will prevail. I tried to avoid my tears, but then I took an arrow in the knee. Farewell.

Ironiocally the meme died of cancer. As opposed to blood loss.

It may be gone for now, but sooner or later it may come back with a vengeance.

Until it stopped being as funny. No I will not reference it.

Its the new "The Cake is a Lie", a once funny phrase overused to the point of lost context and no longer hilarious. Sad, but at least it was once funny.

I thought it was funny, but I only saw it a few times.

Honestly every time I see the arrow to the knee joke I feel a little sick. I'm not even kidding that is how bad it is.

I have no idea why that phrase was so popular, but I hope you're right about it dying.

It was never really funny, just because it was associated with such a great game is what made it cool.

This is the first I've even heard of this supposedly popular meme. I've never seen anybody ever use it in any context until this topic. Just in Skyrim circles mayhaps?
