When you say ex-illegal, do you mean illegal in the US up until you moved, or do you mean you aren't illegally migrating to other countries anymore?

It doesn't, but a lot of immigrants like to move to the UK... they often migrate through france to the UK. Since you are legal now, that obviously isn't the case, but basically... England is a great place to start with nothing.
