Ok, so I was just browsing the internet, minding my own business, when I can accross an article on Reddit saying how AT&T is blocking access to a certain website.
And I was like "what?". I'm a Time Warner customer myself and have no desire to spend time on said blocked website, but even though it isn't exactly the best website on the internet (far from in my opinion) for many, many reasons, allowing AT&T to do this sets a scary precedent. Who is AT&T to start deciding what websites people should be allowed to access? Today it's AT&T and that website, but who knows, tomorrow it may be Comcast or Time Warner and a site that I actually like.
What are your thoughts, and what do you think should be done about this? Is this even legal?
