What temperature marks the point at which you just have to start wearing "winter" clothing? For me, I'd say that it's 50 degrees and lower. At the moment, it's 38 degrees Fahrenheit, which I consider to be really cold. I've started wearing my hoody and jacket to keep myself warm. What sucks is that my roommate keeps the window open, so it's freezing in here. How about you guys?

I dont feel like youre allowed to complain until its less than 0c. I wont bike to work if its less than -5c, so i guess thats where i draw the cold line.

Temp. really has very little to do with it (w/in reason) 40 degrees can feel fine...it depends on the wind and humidity

I'm in Potsdam, NY. That's about two hours south of Canada.:) It get's really cold here. I hate the weather; I should have gone to a college in an area with year-long warm weather.

since I live in a country with rather mild winters, 15ºC is already cold for me. I'm used to warm weather.

I stick to hoodies until it is 15F. I throw on gloves and a hat at that point. I won't go up to heavy coat unless there is wind or it is negative temperatures.

40 degrees is cold. Unfortunately the weird people here living with me in minnesota say it's still warm. Sorry but Minnesota is way to damn cold for my taste.

I dress warmer in weather where it only gets up into the 40s or lower.

Or if it's one of those days where it starts out in the single digits/teens and gets really warm in the afternoon I'll dress warmer for the morning.

8 or 10C, maybe - the point where I can no longer wear a short sleeve shirt. But it also depends on the humidity and if there's wind.

Temps in Norway go from -40 degrees Celsius in the winter to +35 degrees Celsius. I stop wearing shorts at -15 degrees. No idea what it is in that stone age Fahrenheit degrees.

Edit: -40 C = -40F. +35C = 95F

So at 5F I stop wearing shorts. Viking POWER!

I wear shorts and t-shirt unless the temperature drops to 45F. When the temperature drops into the low 40's, it's time for me to wear t-shirts and pants. I usually don't wear a jacket until the temperature drops into the 30's.

Once the temperature drops into the teens and below, I wear long johns/thermals underneath my clothes.

Edit: I actually like it better when it snows. That means the temperature is usually in the 20's (F) because of the clouds which act like a blanket. Once in single digits or below 0F, it's too cold for snow. The coldest days I've seen here in winter is when the sun is out and there are no clouds. The temperature outside is like -23F.
