I just thought that this should become common knowledge. A new Australian law requires that internet users post thier full name and postcode, and that websites store address details of all users who post comments or blog posts or anything of the type in refrence to the government. The law will be seeing it's first use in regard to the upcomming election. There will be fines of upto $5,000 for failing to identify yourself when posting anything in regard to this election online. As an Australian, I think the whole aussie government needs to be completely thrown out. I mean, we've had this, the internet filter, lack of an R18+ rating for games. The whole government seems majorly messed up, this isn't want a current first world country should be doing. I've never commented on government elections before, but this year, I think I'm going to be doing alot of commenting, sans name :)
