Technically and legally we are all Roman Catholics, but all of us are sick of Religion and what not, so technically they are non practicing (and I use the term loosely) Catholics, whereas I am Agnostic (hard to say of my bro, probably Agnostic as well). Mind you my mother uses Religion to threaten me. And I have attended Catholic schools all my life, mind you my distaste of Christianity has left a sour taste in a few peoples mouths, and they tried arguing with me. Unfortunatley for them I am of a far superior intellect, and nowadays they shut up about it.

Hmm... my family's also made up of nonpracticing Christians... I don't even go to a Christian school or anything. I'm a closet agnostic (my elder brother's a closet atheist), I don't want to cause unrest within the family.

I wont deny that it can form rifts in families. My philosophy teacher was telling me how he doesnt speak to half of his family because they are devout Christians where as he is a Deist, and a somewhat Atheistic one at that. So he basically doesn't go to any family events because he knows it will cause trouble. I dont have to worry about that, my family (not immediate, cousins and uncles and whatever) hates each other anyway and we only speak to a few relatives who still like us.

Yeah.... I dislike how some people can't accept different beliefs properly... though, I guess I can be thankful that my family isn't made up of Scientologists....

Although the irony in you post is wonderful, I agree. I would go as far as to say that Scientology might be the new Christianity considering how similar they seem.

I'm quite acceptive of a person who believes in Scientology (although, it seems incredibly ridiculous to me... I would never believe in it). It's the part about how they force disconnection with people who believe otherwise that makes me think that being a member of a Scientologist family is a very bad idea.

There are sooo many atheists in Gamespot....its saddening...the fact that some ppl think that such a thing as we live in has got no upper hand watsoever...hellllo...therz a reason sooo many ppl are either Muslims,Christians,etc...cuz once a upon a time some actual prophets did come...and they brought Gods words....The Quran has stuff(scientifically) that is now or has been recently been proven by Science...the Quran came like decades ago...and it had recent scientific facts...if that aint a sure as hell sign i dont know wat is....The Quran has never changed..ever]
