the first 2 season started out good until the the story and character became laughable in season 3 and in sozin's comet: the final battle. i hope this one have a much deeper story and character.

So, yes, Aang's story did conclude, but they're focusing on a new character now.

Just thankful that this was about the animated series, and not that crappy blue-monkey CGI stuff.

Avatar is by far one of the best western animated shows in existence. The animation and fighting choregraphy looks top notch. I just hope the writing is as emotional and funny as the first series.

It's not modern, it takes place 70 years after the first series, so taller buildings show some progression but it still carries an ancient eastern setting.

Forget it. That movie by M night shamalyan, was to Avatar as Super Mario Bro.s the movie was to the game. Don't base your opinion on it. If you haven't seen the animated TV show, then you haven't seen it, period.

I liked the first avatar cartoon, though the ending seemed kind of rushed and abrupt.

Not much story in that trailer, but it doesn't really matter since the animation looks incredible. The animation was sometimes a little spotty in the first series but it looks like they've got quite the budget now.
