Well, he IS pushing 50, so a little weight gain is to be expected. Though he's not been relevant since the early/mid 90s.King_Creole_35
If you're dedicated to what you do, it is not out of the realm of possibility to maintain your body. Pic related.
[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]80s metal should have stayed in the 80s.:(deathtarget04
GNR isn't metal..
It was considered as such in the 80s;)80s metal should have stayed in the 80s.:(LJS9502_basicGNR were always a hard rock band. I don't understand why people call them a metal band, same goes for bands like Rush and AC/DC

Well, I was about to say it would have been considered heavy back then (therefore metal?), but when stuff like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEn9EPsBy_M was out around the same time it doesn't make much sense. There is a bit of a fine line between heavy metal and hard rock though, and I am sounding like one hell of a music elitist from writing this

Being that fat takes work. Simple moderation and proper routines and he could look similar/better than he did then. I would say most middle aged men aren't the sad sacks and poor-me's they make themselves out to be. On topic, I didn't even know he still did shows, thought he just disappeared forever.Everybody thinks it is so damn easy to stay the in the shape you were fresh out of HS........

Sting:
He is 60.
He can be as fat as he wants as long as he rocks that yellow raincoat on stage.-Fromage-If he get any bigger, he's gonna have to go from raincoat to tarp.
Meh I don't care, he had one hit song but beyond that he was overrated. Just an A-hole who was overcompensating for something by acting out and being stupid. In other news, when is that "Chinese Democracy" albulm coming out?

[QUOTE="ShadowMoses900"]It came out a year or two ago. Apparently, no on else noticed, either. Well he just refused to promote the album. There were no music videos, singles, Late Night Tv performances, or Interviews.... It obvious why no one remembers it, rthe promotion was close to none and the album quality was not high enough to be able to stand by its own without marketing backing it.Meh I don't care, he had one hit song but beyond that he was overrated.
