Well I googled "Pacific" and indeed there making it with Executive producers Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. It will follow three men and be a 10 part mini-series same as Band of brother. Budget estimates range from a reported 150 million to 300 million. This is going to be epic thanks for the info guys!

I just finished watching this last night and I just want to slap myself for putting it off so long it is easily my new favorite war movie/series whatever off all time.
Band of Brothers is the best mini series/war movie i've ever seen. I got the box set as soon as it was released. They are meant to be making another mini series based on the Pacific Theatre but its hard to find info on it.

Yea I can't wait for that to come out but I am a little disspaointed by the listed actors that it says are gonna be in it I mean Band of Brothers had a fantastic cast, David Swimmer, The guy from orange county and lots of other familiar faces kept showing up (I have alot more but I don't want to go to imdb to find out there names.)
Yeah Band of Brothers is really good. Coincidentally, today, my friend brought over his box set and we watched episodes 3 and 4. It's amazingly well done, and I want to watch the rest.
