The parts that I watched were great. I only saw them on the history channel, and I didn't have time to sit through the marathon. It was uncut with limited commercials though...

I'd really like to rent the boxset sometime.

It was really amazing! one of the greatest shows ever.. Plus produced by Spielburg (?spelling) so its a WIN!!

Yup.. i heard the same thing years ago.. its meant to be set in the Pacific theatre this time around.. i can't wait. Weird that no information has come out for it yet.. but i guess it does take a loong time to make.

It was alright. I found it kind of boring, but maybe I was just grumpy at the time. Plus, I hate Schwimmer.

SERJ, you got that right! BoB rocked hardcore, bought the DVD set for my dad and he was blown away.

You want another AWESOME mini series, John Adams is on HBO On Demand right now, blew my mind how good that was.

Funny you talk about this, we just had to watch this at school. We only saw two episodes but it looks so great that I'm planning on watching the rest of the series on my own time.

I have the box set as well. So powerful... I have numerous family members that fought in the war... One of the most powerful episodes of the series is when they find the camp. It's amazing that a mini-series could portray that so.... graphically. It actually disturbed me...
