There are probably plenty of people with mental powers that batman has kicked their butts easily enough. I mean he can beat up superman for goodness sakes. If darth vader just popped up i think vader eventually. But if batman knew about him coming id say it would be 50/50

I think the idea that Vader would obliterate Batman is a little exaggerated. Force choke? Yeah, Vader could do that, but just because you are being choked doesn't mean you just give up. Batman has been choked by Bane and other super strong characters and does he just lie there and take it? No, he fights out of it. While Vader is choking him, he could throw some quick smoke pellets or hit him in the face with the batarang or something.

Lightsaber? Yeah, it is a great weapon, but it doesn't automatically mean that Batman is down for the count. If you think Batman would just rush in seeing Vader with his saber out you are kidding yourself. Batman would definitely try to disarm him or something and destroy the weapon.

Now, I am not saying that Batman would beat Darth Vader, I am repeating what someone else has previously said, that it depends on who is writing the fight. Vader would not be used to seeing someone like the Batman, and Batman would not be used to seeing someone like Vader. I think it would actually be a pretty good fight.

Well what's the context for this? Where are they fighting? What are the rules?

I think Vader's powers make him matched unevenly against Batman in a straight up fight since he could just force choke him through his armor, but if Batman could use trickery and stealth he could probably gain the upper hand.

But all signs point to Vader as he is a powerful jedi who could just point his hand at Batman to choke him, and while Batman could easily fight dozens of men at once, none of those guys have force choke.

i see darth vader similar to joker syco path with calm aspect so... unless darth vader has crazy a** power the fight could go either way...
