Basically, RATM's politics appeal to middle schoolers, while SOAD's politics appeal to high schoolers.

SOAD is in no way more politically mature then RATM.

Eh, I didn't find it interesting.
System of a Down has far more variety to their music than RATM. (I'm speaking from a purely musical standpoint, not lyrical.)
I find RATM rather annoying really.

Killing in the name, btw, and I agree it is a good song, but nothing compared to "Freedom" or "Bulls On Parade"
[QUOTE="quiglythegreat"]Radiohead destroys them both.lemonfreshpandaRadiohead is a political band? :? Perhaps you've heard of them...?
[QUOTE="lemonfreshpanda"][QUOTE="quiglythegreat"]Radiohead destroys them both.quiglythegreatRadiohead is a political band? :? Perhaps you've heard of them...? Yes, but Radiohead has nothing to do with politics. This is the battle of politically influenced bands.
Radiohead has nothing to do with politics. lemonfreshpandaThank you for answering my question. Radiohead is an immensely political band and anyone who's listened to them ever knows that.

Radiohead is an immensely political band and anyone who's listened to them ever knows that. It's not as blatantly political enough to be regarded as a "political" band, though. I'm just kinda talking out my butt right now though, my brain is fuzzed up right now.
