Bear Grylls the host of Man vs. Wild appears to have suffered his first defeat at the hands of the wild.

If the wild can hurt Bear who could possilby be safe?

I can tell you one thing..... exposed fractures of the shoulder are REALLY painful, not to mention the risk onf infection added to the low temperatures in Antartica, we are talking about a BAD condition that can cause amputation of the whole arm. :(

I wish him all the luck and a quick recovery. I like his show and have learned some useful things. :)

Yeah, taiming wild horses with horseshoes on is incredible. I mean, the horse must have been pretty smart to fit himself in some comfy horseshoes all by himself. I wonder how such a smart horse as that could get so easily subdued...
